Das nächste Signa-Opfer hat eine neue Heimat gefunden. MyBestBrands geht wie zuletzt bereits Stylight („ProSiebenSat.1 hat Stylight für 2 Mio. Euro verkauft“) an die neu formierte Inspiration Commerce Group von Bonsai:
„I am excited to announce our new shareholder: the Inspiration Commerce Group, owned by Shop Bonsai, Inc. based in Toronto, Canada.
The acquisition brings a significant long-term financial investment into mybestbrands, which will be used to move mybestbrands.de to a new, technically much leaner platform and to expand with this platform to France, UK and other markets.
2023 was a challenging year for us. SIGNA, our former shareholder, went bankrupt and we have been facing great financial uncertainty since the beginning of 2023.
I am now more than happy to have repurchased the company in a management buyout last summer, paving the way for us to find an investor under enormous time pressure.“
