Was aber, wenn Project A den Turbo zündet (Exchanges #143)? – Mit einem neuen Fonds und erweiterter Führungsmannschaft rüstet sich Project A Ventures gerade für die kommenden 5 Jahre (“Project A verstärkt Management-Team”):

“We completed our management team by bringing two new General Partners on board: Dr. Anton Waitz and Benjamin Fischer.

In his previous role, Anton was Managing Director of Axel Springer Digital Ventures in Palo Alto and New York.

He will make an excellent addition to our team. In particular, with the experience he has gathered over the last 2.5 years, when he was involved in building the Axel Springer venture/digital investment business in the US and led several early stage investments during that time, Anton will enhance our investment competences and expand our US network.

Ben was Group CFO of Quandoo where he built-up the central functions for Finance/Legal, Business Intelligence and HR and was a key member of the global management team.

Ben will help us to broaden our management bandwidth in investment diligence, running our company builder operations, coaching our portfolio companies in growth stage, as well as supporting on the exit management and investors network/fundraising side.”

Gestartet wurde Project A Ventures mit dem Kapital der Otto-Gruppe und des Springer-Konzerns. Aktuell ist man allerdings dabei, sich kapitalseitig breiter aufzustellen.

Gerade laufen zudem die Vorbereitungen für den Portfolio Day in der kommenden Woche, der u.a. bei Twitter zu verfolgen sein wird.
