Nach Trendyol Go will sich Uber jetzt für das Food & Delivery Geschäft auch Getir schnappen, das zuletzt auf Umsätze von 1 Mrd. Dollar und eine entsprechende Bewertung gekommen ist (PDF):
„Uber Technologies, Inc. entered into an agreement with Mubadala Investment Company to acquire Getir’s delivery portfolio in Türkiye, including food, grocery, retail, and water delivery.
The transaction is structured in phases with the agreement to acquire 100% of Getir’s food delivery business at the outset, for $335 million in cash on a cash and debt free basis.
Getir’s food delivery business generated over $1 billion in gross bookings in 2025, up more than 50% from the prior year on a constant currency basis.
In addition, Uber will invest $100 million to acquire a 15% stake in Getir’s grocery, retail and water delivery business.
The acquisition of the remainder of Getir’s delivery portfolio across grocery, retail and water delivery is expected to close in the next few years, subject to certain operating and financial performance conditions being met.“
Was wird aus Flink?
Da stellt sich natürlich die Frage, ob sich Uber Eats über kurz oder lang auch Flink schnappen könnte, das kürzlich erstmals Umsatzzahlen veröffentlicht hat:
Wie es so läuft bei Flink, hat sich gerade auch das Supermarktblog gefragt („Flinks Comeback bei Wolt: Letzte Ausfahrt Plattformgeschäft?“).
Uber Delivery wächst auf 90 Mrd. Dollar (GMV)
Uber Eats bzw. Uber Delivery sind 2025 auf ein GMV von 90 Mrd. Dollar (+21%) gekommen (PDF Quelle):
Damit liegen sie allerdings weiter hinter DoorDash, das 2025 – mit Wolt und Deliveroo zusammen – erstmals die 100-Milliarden-Marke erreichen könnte.
